Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our telehealth team at Superior Radiance Behavioral Center. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide remote mental health services to clients across North Greece, New York, enabling you to make a substantial impact on their lives while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider both psychiatric and medical conditions impacting the patient's mental well-being.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address the full spectrum of a patient’s needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth, adapting approaches to align with diverse patient needs and ongoing treatment goals.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary medical teams, ensuring coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes for patients.
Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning.
Educate patients about the interplay between mental health and physical well-being, equipping them with the tools to manage their conditions effectively.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
Actively participate in virtual team meetings, case conferences, and care planning discussions to foster continuous quality improvement.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in integrated care methodologies relevant to your role.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals facing mental health challenges coupled with co-occurring medical conditions. Your expertise in navigating these complexities will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being of our clients, who benefit from your compassionate support and commitment to their mental health journey.
Qualifications
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of New York.
Strong understanding and experience in addressing mental health needs for individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teammates.
Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality.
Comfortable using electronic health record systems and other relevant technological tools for telehealth.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a telehealth setting, providing virtual therapy services.
Background in integrated care or collaboration with healthcare providers in treating complex patient populations.
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative therapeutic strategies that address both mental and physical health concerns.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
