Position Overview
Calming Motion Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote community-based team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work from home while also engaging with clients in our outpatient office setting located in Bonney Lake, Washington. Work Environment
This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility, but candidates should also be available to offer in-person support at our outpatient office as needed. Key Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Facilitate intake appointments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate measurable goals.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client progress, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
Work collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care.
Provide support and counseling for individuals with ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, employing specialized therapeutic techniques.
Implement various counseling methodologies, including grief counseling and addiction counseling, to aid diverse client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating complex mental health challenges. Qualifications
A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) is required.
Active license in mental health counseling as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.
Familiarity with therapeutic techniques for grief and addiction counseling.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience working with children and adolescents in therapeutic settings is preferred.
Experience in multi-disciplinary team environments that prioritize holistic mental health treatment.
Compensation and Benefits
