Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including:
Conducting thorough assessments for adult patients to evaluate their mental health status and needs.
Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with the support and strategies to navigate their challenges.
Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Collaborating with clients to set attainable goals and closely monitoring their progress over time.
Providing crisis intervention and immediate support to clients facing acute mental health crises.
Documenting and maintaining accurate and confidential client records in accordance with best practices and regulations.
Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in mental health counseling.
Actively participating in team initiatives, including social media outreach, professional development workshops, and interdisciplinary consultations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or an equivalent credential.
Maintaining active registration with your respective professional association.
Possessing professional liability insurance for practice.
A commitment to a full-time schedule, ensuring availability to engage with clients and team members.
Proficient in administering assessments and creating detailed reports for a diverse client population, including children, teenagers, and adults.
Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork abilities within a clinical setting.
Strong adherence to ethical standards and clinical best practices.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experiences may enhance your candidacy:
Experience working in outpatient mental health settings or community health environments.
Familiarity with teletherapy practices and platforms.
Specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.G., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
