Work Environment

The typical work week spans Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing quality of life.
Manage daily caseloads of approximately 7 patients, closely monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols.
Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques, including functional exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, self-care strategies, and preventive measures to encourage long-term health and recovery.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for all patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and those dealing with chronic pain. We emphasize a tailored approach to rehabilitation, taking into account each patient's unique circumstances and goals. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support patients of various ages, from young athletes to seniors, through their recovery journeys.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an outpatient setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate care.
Preferred Experience
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline patient documentation and treatment tracking.
Familiarity with specific rehabilitation methodologies, including but not limited to McKenzie, Graston, and Postural Restoration.
Exposure to interdisciplinary collaboration within a healthcare team, facilitating comprehensive patient care.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
