Position Overview
Miracle Pathways Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team on a full-time, remote basis. Work Environment
This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your caseload from the comfort of your own home while still engaging with patients effectively. Our clinic utilizes telehealth technology to ensure seamless communication and care delivery. You will have the resources of a well-supported clinic while enjoying the independence that remote work offers. We also provide assistance with billing and documentation, alleviating administrative burdens so you can focus more on client care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate each client's mental health needs and treatment goals.
Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies and are sensitive to the cultural context of each client.
Provide ongoing counseling sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Regularly review and adjust therapeutic interventions based on client progress, ensuring that treatment remains relevant and effective.
Maintain an empathetic and engaging presence throughout all counseling sessions, fostering a trusting and supportive client relationship.
Collaborate with other mental health professionals when necessary and refer clients to additional support services to enhance their recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be working with diverse clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. You will be instrumental in empowering patients to overcome obstacles and achieve positive mental health outcomes.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
Active state licensure as a Professional Counselor, meeting all regulatory requirements for practice.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster open and honest dialogues with patients.
Proven skills in developing customized treatment strategies that resonate with the individual experiences of clients.
A willingness to collaborate with other healthcare providers as part of a comprehensive approach to client wellness.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a community health setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with telehealth practices and virtual counseling tools is a plus, given the remote nature of this position.
Knowledge of current best practices in mental health therapy is essential for ensuring effective client care.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
