Vision in Mind Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor to fulfill a vital role within our team. As a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor, you'll be tasked with delivering comprehensive mental health services to individual clients and groups, following the best practices in the field. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to understand each client's mental health needs, which guide subsequent treatment approaches.
Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with each client's goals and health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Provide effective counseling and therapy services in both individual and group formats, adapting techniques to meet a diverse range of client requirements and preferences.
Maintain precise and detailed client records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while facilitating effective case management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to ensure integrated and effective client care.
Uphold professional and ethical guidelines consistently in all counseling sessions and communications to foster an environment of trust and respect.
Engage in continuous professional development and training to remain abreast of emerging trends, techniques, and best practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will focus on a broad spectrum of client needs, including but not limited to children, families, individuals experiencing substance abuse issues, trauma survivors, and those seeking stability in their mental health. By tailoring your approach and having an expansive toolkit at your disposal, you will significantly contribute to improving the mental health landscape in our community.
Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials in the state of Pennsylvania.
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the mental health counseling field.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication as part of a collaborative team effort.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and work efficiently with colleagues.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with specific populations, such as children, families, or individuals facing substance abuse and trauma, will be regarded favorably.
Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems and documentation practices will give you a significant advantage in managing caseloads effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus and additional performance-based incentives.
