nYour Day at Lowe's

nAs a Merchandising Services Associate, you ensure our store's signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate so merchandise is easy to locate. You create product displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to access.

nWhile most of your time will be spent on activities that don't involve customer interaction, you may be expected to engage with customers when the opportunity arises. You'll be expected to listen to customers and answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist in locating or handling merchandise.

nKey Responsibilities

nnnComplete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks

n

nnVerify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping

n

nnUpdate/validate wayfinding and product location signage, as well as digital maintenance of this information throughout the store

n

nnConfirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace any missing price labels

n

nnHelp drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products in proper locations, and ensuring displays are placed appropriately throughout the store

n

nnRepair/replace damaged or missing items, including signage, merchandise and displays.

n

nnCommunicate project priorities, schedule, and needs with Merchandising Services Team and Manager

n

nnAnalyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders

n

nnComplete other duties as assigned

n

n nMinimum Qualifications

nnnRead, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)

n

nnAbility to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others

n

nnUtilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks

n

nnAbility to sit and stand for long periods of time

n

nnMinimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation

n

n nPreferred Qualifications

nnnLowe's sales floor experience

n

nnExperience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.

n

nnExperience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment

n

nnWorking knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.)

n

nTravel Requirements

nThis role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

nWorking Conditions

nEnvironmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.

nLifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
