Custodian PositionSt Pius X High School, serving students in grades nine through twelve, is a Catholic, college preparatory school providing a quality education by embracing academic excellence and promoting social and spiritual growth.Custodian (Full-time, 12-month, hourly employee) Evening Shift Available (1pm to 9pm, or 2pm to 10pm)The custodial/maintenance staff reports directly to the Principal, Bob Lee. The custodial staff is responsible for the following duties:general and emergency maintenance and cleaningsecuring the building at the end of each day after activities have finishedobtaining the necessary supplies for cleaning and maintaining the buildingperform daily visual inspections of the entire school property and clean and maintain as neededinforming the maintenance supervisor of major and minor repairs needed in the buildingperforming work to be done as a result of work orders requested by the president, principal or assistant principalmaintain the overall outside appearance of the school propertyremoving all graffiti immediately, and reporting incidents of graffiti to the principal or assistant principalreporting all vandalism as soon as possible to the maintenance supervisorsnow removal as necessaryperform a visual inspection of the work done by the evening custodial crew and report any concerns to the maintenance supervisorRequirements2+ Years experience preferred, but not requiredTrained in Protecting God's Children, or willing to be trainedPracticing Catholic in good standing is preferred, but not requiredSt Pius X High School offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental and vision plans, STD/LTD fully paid by the employer, retirement plans including a 403b plan and a defined benefit pension plan.Note: All employees are required to consent to a background check and acknowledge the Ethics and Integrity in Ministry code of conduct policy prior to beginning work.
