FT Nights Unit Clerk- ICUUnit Clerk- ICUThis position is responsible for providing clerical support to the ICU unit, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information, and assisting with various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the unit.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including admission, transfer, and discharge documentation.Assist with the preparation of patient charts and ensure all necessary information is included.Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the electronic health record system.Handle phone calls and inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing information and assistance as needed.Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, tests, and procedures.Support the unit with various administrative tasks, including filing, copying, and data entry.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in a healthcare setting or medical office preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
