Job description
Full-Time Nurse Practitioner
The Full-Time Nurse Practitioner delivers primary care services in a rural health clinic located in Garberville, CA, supporting diverse patient populations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Compensation ranges up to $190,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, comprehensive care across diverse patient populations
Conduct exams, order diagnostic testing, and prescribe treatment or medications
Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness toward patients and colleagues
Collaborate with healthcare teams to support positive outcomes and seamless patient care
Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies
Participate in team meetings, committees, and special projects
Assist department managers in developing and implementing clinic policies and procedures
Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Valid California RN license
Certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner
AANP or ANCC board certification required or eligibility for certification
Furnishing number for Nurse Practitioners
DEA license (unrestricted)
NPI number required
BLS certification required
Preferred Skills:
ACLS and PALS certifications
Previous experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in underserved or medically needy communities
