Optometrist (OD)
A well-established private practice near Lafayette, IN, is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their growing team. Located in a charming community, Rochester offers a welcoming atmosphere, a lower cost of living, and a great quality of life, making it an ideal place to live and work.
Position Highlights
Private, full-scope practice with state-of-the-art technology
Enjoy a balanced Monday-Friday work schedule, leaving weekends free
Focus on patient-centered care, with tech support and manageable pace (two patients per hour)
Work alongside a collaborative team of Optometrists across multiple locations
Access to advanced equipment, including OCT, Visual Fields, Optos, and Retinal Camera
Preference for Optometrists with a specialty or passion area to complement primary care
50% of exams focus on medical optometry, offering a diverse case mix
Excellent staff retention and google reviews
Competitive salary ranging from $120K-$170K, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
Diagnose disease and vision disorders
Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Requirements
Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
License to practice in the state of IN
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
