Optometrist (OD)
Private practice located near Wallingford, CT is looking for a full or part-time Optometrist for their busy full scope practice. This is a great opportunity for an Optometrist that is very patient focused and is looking for a great working environment.
Position Highlights:
Experience and interest in specialty contact lens preferred
State of the art equipment incl OCT, Visual Field, etc
Practice full scope optometry
Warm, friendly, patient focused practice
Avg 20-25 patients per day with tech support
Great location near New Haven, approx 1/2 hour from Hartford, 2 hours from NYC
Salary range of $170,000-$200,000
Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)
Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
Diagnose disease and vision disorders
Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)
Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
License to practice in the state of CT
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
