Vitality Empower Physical Therapy is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our compassionate team in Sacramento, California. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding patients on their rehabilitation journey to restore mobility and improve their overall functionality. You will implement high-quality therapeutic interventions, enhancing patients' quality of life by focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation tailored to their individual needs.

Located in Sacramento, Vitality Empower Physical Therapy operates a modern, state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine facility that is designed to accommodate a diverse range of rehabilitation services. As a PT-owned practice, we pride ourselves on our patient-centric approach and have built a reputation for excellence in treating individuals primarily covered by private medical insurance. Our team is made up of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively to provide exceptional care.
Work Environment
You will work predominantly onsite in our rehabilitation facility, equipped with the latest technology and resources to support our patients' recovery. The physical workspace is designed to accommodate a variety of therapeutic activities, ensuring that patients can safely engage in diverse rehabilitation exercises.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals, limitations, and progress, and develop tailored treatment plans.
Manage a patient caseload effectively, seeing one patient per hour to provide focused, individual attention.
Design and implement effective treatment strategies that utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
Provide rehabilitation services that prioritize reducing reliance on medications and exploring alternative procedures when applicable.
Collaborate with fellow therapists and consult multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions and effective self-management strategies.
Document all treatment services and outcomes comprehensively, using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary based on progress and feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. Your role will be crucial in assisting patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their ability to perform daily activities. You will motivate and empower patients to reach their recovery goals, focusing on improving their strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall mobility.
QualificationsA Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
Must possess a valid California state license as a Physical Therapist.
A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license is mandatory.
Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based exercise protocol development are essential.
Preferred ExperienceExperience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and EMR systems, particularly WebPT, will be advantageous.
Proven ability to deliver patient education and support lifestyle modifications to optimize functionality.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
