Job description
Police Officer
The Morristown Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officers to join our community-oriented agency serving more than 6,000 residents, a vibrant local economy, and thousands of visitors each year.
Sign-On Bonus
$15,000 sign-on bonus for Vermont-certified Level III police officers
$7,500 sign-on bonus for Vermont-certified Level II police officers

Vermont-certified Level III officers are eligible for the $15,000 sign-on bonus and an accelerated hiring process. The process includes:
Resume and letter of intent
Oral board interview
Psychological evaluation
Comprehensive background investigation
Compensation
$31.57–$45.99 per hour , depending on experience.
