Job description
Assistant Maintenance TechnicianAssistant Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled building and maintenance tasks relating to the renovation, upkeep and operation of campus buildings and facilities. Perform painting, framing, flooring, hang and finish sheet rock, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC and other skilled and semi-skilled tasks, as needed. Ability to assist with basic plumbing, electricity, heating, and cooling systems operations, and demonstrate basic safety practices. Closing Date: Open until filled. Start Date: Open until filled. Standard Working Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary: $2,650.00 per month.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma, or equivalent, required. Must possess a valid NC Drivers' License. Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, grasp, reach and stand. Two years work experience in painting, and sheet rock repair, required.Supplemental InformationOfficial transcripts, including other documentation verifying all reported educational qualifications, are required. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for application purposes. The successful candidate must provide official transcripts at his or her expense within thirty (30) days of being notified of selection.
