We are a physician-owned and operated organization with four locations across California and more on the way. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Palm Springs team.
Position Summary
The PA-C or NP will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is committed to excellent patient care, strong clinical communication, teamwork, and evidence-based medicine.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct primary care services to adult patients within the provider's scope and credentials
Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and follow-up visits
Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when appropriate
Develop, implement, and manage evidence-based treatment plans
Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
Maintain quality, compliance, and patient-safety standards
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
Education
MSN or DNP for Nurse Practitioners (NP-C or NP-BC), or
MPAS or equivalent accredited Physician Assistant education (PA-C)
Licensure
Current, clear, and unrestricted California license
Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain as required
Experience
1+ year of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred, but not required
Leadership experience preferred, but not required
