This role involves continuous patient monitoring, timely intervention, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesContinuously monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to clinical changesPerform comprehensive assessments for patients across the lifespanAdminister medications safely using electronic medical record systemsInterpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to abnormalitiesAssist physicians with examinations, procedures, and specialized treatmentsProvide patient and family education, support, and advocacyMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standardsEnsure a safe, clean, and compliant patient care environmentCollaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team membersMinimum QualificationsLicensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North CarolinaCertifications: Basic Life Support (CPR) – requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required within 6 months of hirePediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferredExperience: Recent Critical Care and/or Medical-Surgical experience requiredCore CompetenciesStrong clinical judgment and prioritization skillsAbility to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situationsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesCommitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered careHigh level of professionalism and accountabilityEmployment RequirementsCompliance with all health and safety policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)BenefitsComprehensive benefits begin the first of the month following employment, in accordance with hospital policy.For additional information regarding benefits and the full job description, please contact Human Resources.How to ApplyQualified candidates should submit:Completed applicationResumeCover letter (including explanation of any employment gaps)Equal Opportunity EmployerAshe Memorial Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
