Retail Security OfficerLocation: White Plains, NY Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities AvailableAre you dependable, professional, and highly observant? We are seeking Retail Security Officers to join our team at a busy, high-traffic retail environment in White Plains, NY.This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in providing a visible security presence, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a strong and professional security presence throughout the property to help deter theft and other security concernsConduct routine foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, and parking areasMonitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violationsRespond to security incidents and emergencies promptly, professionally, and in accordance with established proceduresProvide professional customer service and assistance to customers, employees, and visitorsEnforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanorCommunicate and coordinate with management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessaryComplete detailed and accurate incident reports and other required documentationMaintain awareness of your surroundings and proactively identify potential security concernsPerform other duties as assigned by site managementMinimum QualificationsMUST be willing and able to travel to White Plains, NYValid New York State Security Guard License requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageMUST be comfortable standing and walking for the duration of the shiftAbility to remain alert and attentive in a busy retail environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow post orders, policies, and proceduresAbility to handle challenging situations calmly and professionallyPrior retail, loss prevention, or mall security experience is preferred but not requiredPhysical RequirementsThis is an active security position that requires officers to be on their feet for extended periods of time.Candidates must be able to:Stand and walk for prolonged periodsConduct routine foot patrolsRemain alert and attentive throughout the shiftRespond appropriately to incidents and emergenciesWhy Join Us?Weekly payUniforms providedOpportunities for advancementFlexible scheduling opportunitiesTraining and professional development opportunitiesSupportive management and team environmentIf you are professional, dependable, customer-service oriented, and ready to make a difference in a busy retail environment, we encourage you to apply.With over 80 years of protecting the things that matter, we've seen more than most.
