Job description
Role: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma setting.
Responsibilities: Utilize top of scope practice, apply evidence-based care, prioritize patient safety, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Support and mentor new staff, contribute to quality improvement, and maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid RN licensure, and at least 6 months of nursing experience. Certifications such as BLS are required; additional certifications like ACLS, NIHSS, ENPC, or PALS are preferred or expected within specified timeframes.
Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a high-pressure environment.
Key Duties: Provide emergency-level nursing care, support educational initiatives, and uphold safety and quality standards. Engage in professional growth through training and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
