Full-Time Security OfficerPrimary Location: Chesterfield, MOWage: $19.00/HRSchedule: 39 Hours Per WeekMon - Wed: 7AM - 8PMThe Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.Perks & Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K Options.Life, AD&D, & Disability Insurance.Virtual Medical Appointments With Telemedicine.Paid Time Off, FREE Uniforms, Paid Training. & Paid Weekly.Employee Assistance Program.DailyPay Access Program!!Discounts on Childcare, Pet care, vehicles, cell phones, travel & So Much More!What You Can Expect:Conflict resolution and de-escalation.Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.Front desk / access control duties such as creating badges for visitors and answering phones.Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.Conduct tours of the property.Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.Basic Requirements:18 years of age or older.High School Diploma or GED required.Above average computer / technology skills needed.Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.Must be able to work independently.Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.Must have a professional demeanor.Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.Valid Drivers License required.Must have a strong professional appearance.Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.Reliable means of transportation needed.Open availability preferred.Must be alert and observant.Must be responsible and dependable.Must be able to obtain a Pharm Tech License.Securitas is committed to equal employment opportunity.
