Depending on each client's needs, responsibilities may include:Providing companionship and meaningful social interactionAssisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feedingSupporting clients with daily routines and personal hygienePreparing meals and assisting with meal planningProviding medication remindersCompleting light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and general tidyingAssisting with transportation to appointments and errandsSupporting safe mobility and daily activitiesFollowing each client's individualized Plan of CareCommunicating changes or concerns to the office teamProviding families with appropriate support and guidance when neededThe Caregiver We're Looking ForYou may be a great fit if you are:Compassionate, patient, and respectfulDependable and punctualProfessional in your communication and conductComfortable building relationships with seniorsPositive and engagingAttentive to client needs and safetyAdaptable and willing to learnCommitted to helping seniors maintain their dignity and independenceQualificationsAt least 1 year of senior caregiving experience in an agency, facility, or private-care settingValid driver's licenseReliable transportation and current auto insuranceAbility to safely lift at least 25 poundsComfortable working around small dogs and/or catsAble to follow and understand an individualized Plan of CareResponsive to calls, texts, and emails regarding scheduling and client updatesDementia or Alzheimer's care experience is a plusWillingness to complete required company trainingWhy Comfort Keepers?At Comfort Keepers, we understand that exceptional caregiving is about more than completing daily tasks.
