Job description
Reidsville Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient and inpatient care, including surgery, dentistry, and triage services.
We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.
Our typical caseload includes GDV, TPLO, C-sections, amputations, tumor removals, and rehabilitation — alongside advanced diagnostics, acupuncture, laser therapy, endoscopy, and high-tech reproduction services. Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Assisting in surgery
Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.
Compensation:
$23 - 25 per hour, for each hour worked

2+ years of veterinary technician experience
~ Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of North Carolina
~ Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
~ Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
~ Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
~ Radiology positioning and safety protocols
~ Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
