Position Summary:
IMG Academy is looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver and document high-quality software solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frameworks and technologies
Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement user-friendly interfaces
Build and integrate APIs to support application functionality
Work with databases, ensuring optimal data modeling and performance
Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
Document and define disaster and succession plans for software solutions
Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance product development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
3-5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in:
◦ Front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, Liquid, Twig ◦ Back-end technologies: Ruby, PHP, Node.js ◦ Development tools: Composer, Brew, NVM/NPM ◦ Server and database management: Linux, Apache, MySQL, YAML ◦ Leveraging Claude AI
Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
Experience with relational and SQL databases
Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Experience with version control using Git/GitHub
Experience with Enterprise Cloudflare services
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred:
Master’s degree in software engineering or related field
Interest in sports
Experience leveraging AI frameworks such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies
