n$30/hour + Full Benefits, Paid Vacation & Sick Time
nWe are looking for a fun, upbeat, energetic, and genuinely kind person to spend time with a 30-year-old adult male with Autism.
nThis is NOT a clinical or traditional caregiver position, and professional caregiving experience is not required. We are looking for the right personality — someone bubbly, happy, active, funny, patient, and creative who enjoys making someone else’s day more enjoyable.
nThink companion, activity partner, and friend.
nThe ideal person is someone who can walk in with positive energy and say, “What should we do today?” Whether that’s watching a movie together, playing a game, doing arts & crafts, taking a walk, going for a drive to grab a snack, shopping, running an errand, or coming up with a fun new activity.
nWhat You’ll Do
nSpend quality time together and provide companionship
nWatch movies and shows together
nPlay games and do arts & crafts
nGo for walks and enjoy activities outside the home
nDrive out for snacks, lunch, shopping, or simple outings
nCome up with creative and fun things to do
nEncourage conversation, laughter, and positive social interaction
nPrepare simple meals or snacks when needed
nHelp make his day active, enjoyable, and engaging
nWho We’re Looking For Previous experience or familiarity interacting with individuals with Autism is a definite plus, but not required. If you understand how to communicate, engage, and be patient with someone on the Autism spectrum, we would love to hear from you.
nPersonality is extremely important to us.

nCreative and good at thinking of fun activities
nPatient, compassionate, and respectful
nActive and willing to get out of the house
nDependable and punctual
nExperience or familiarity with Autism is a definite plus
nComfortable interacting and communicating with an adult with Autism
nA good communicator
nProfessional caregiving experience is NOT required. We are primarily looking for the right personality—someone naturally caring, responsible, patient, engaging, and genuinely interested in building a positive companionship.
nRequirements
nClean background check
nValid driver’s license
nMust have your own reliable car — a car is required for this position
nDependable and punctual
nComfortable driving to activities, stores, restaurants, etc.
nSchedule
nSunday: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM — Forest Hills, Queens Monday–Thursday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM — Great Neck
nSome flexibility may be available.
nCompensation & Benefits
n$30 per hour
