Clinical opportunity
Synergy is seeking a Functional Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive care for patients seeking support with medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapies, wellness, and long-term health. The physician will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, approve medications and supplements, create clinical protocols, and educate patients from a functional medicine perspective.

The integrated model connects wellness and medical services with the organization’s broader aesthetic platform, creating opportunities to serve patients throughout their health and wellness journey while benefiting from a strong brand and centralized support.
The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering and expanding Synergy’s functional medicine services. The ideal physician brings sound clinical judgment, a patient-first approach, strong communication skills, and an interest in wellness, prevention, and helping patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in quality of life.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Plastic Surgery
Fellowship training or strong aesthetic surgical case experience preferred
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia
Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
Patient-first mindset with commitment to clinical excellence
Interest in marketing, education and practice growth
