Fund Accounting SupervisorU.S. Bank Global Fund Services is seeking team members for the role of Fund Accounting Supervisor.In this role you will manage a group of accountants, accounting specialists, and/or support staff responsible for the accurate and timely processing of transactions, general ledger maintenance and reporting, and administration of accounting controls. As an Accounting Supervisor you will train, motivate, assign work, schedule work hours, check results, and assist with performance reviews for assigned staff.Assists with the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and monthly variance analyses.Researches and resolves various accounting issues.Ensures questions from both internal and external customers are researched and resolved in a timely manner.Participates in department and company projects and may lead smaller projects.Key responsibilities include:Working as part of a team responsible to maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds of varying complexity and producing end of day net asset value calculation.Preparing daily general ledger accounting, prime broker/bank cash reconciliations, advisor/portfolio management processing, corporate action application, expense accrual/payment postings, daily net asset value and mill rate determinations, portfolio pricing analysis/validations, timely internal/external information distributions, portfolio reconciliations, etc.Partnering with various internal/external administrators, transfer agencies and prime brokers/custodian relationships collaborating on compliance, audit and financials, while ensuring all Fund Accounting functions are in compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experienceFive or more years of experience in accounting or finance activitiesPreferred Skills/ExperienceAdvanced knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysisAbility to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze dataAbility to manage multiple tasksProficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications particularly ExcelThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.Benefits:Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityPregnancy disability and parental leave401(k) and employer-funded retirement planPaid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)Up to 11 paid holiday opportunitiesAdoption assistanceSick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by lawU.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
