Job description
One of Colombia’s leading construction and infrastructure companies is looking to hire a Fund & Corporate Controller for its operations in Miami, Florida .
This professional will be responsible for overseeing the financial, accounting, and administrative operations of real estate investment funds and corporate entities , working closely with leadership teams in Miami and Colombia . Due to the ongoing interaction with both teams, professional fluency in English and Spanish is required .
Requirements:
10–15+ years of accounting experience (strong candidates with 8+ years of experience will also be considered)
Significant experience in Real Estate Investment, Private Equity, Property Management, or related industries
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Fund Accounting
Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar real estate software is highly valued
Experience with financial reporting, monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, cash flow projections, and investor reporting
Knowledge of NAV calculations, capital calls, and fund distributions
Experience coordinating external audits and tax advisors
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a practical (hands-on) and autonomous approach
Fluent English and Spanish – required
Legal authorization to work in the United States – required. No sponsorship available
100% on-site in Miami, FL
Compensation & Employment:
USD $120,000 – $140,000 annual salary + discretionary bonus
