Job description

Position Overview:

nThe Funder supports the Escrow Team by managing processes related to earnest money deposits, funding, and disbursement of real estate transactions. This role ensures all financial components of the file are handled accurately, timely, and in compliance with TitleOne’s escrow trust accounting standards The Funder plays a critical role in transaction completion by coordinating with internal teams, lenders, agents, and clients to ensure smooth funding and a high level of customer service.

nKey Responsibilities:

nnnDeposit, track, and reconcile earnest money checks in a timely and accurate manner.

n

nnProvide receipts and communicate with customers regarding earnest money deposits.

n

nnPrepare, process, and disburse funds for all transactions in accordance with company trust accounting standards.

n

nnPrint checks, initiate and post wires, and ensure all funding activities are completed accurately.

n

nnFollow company wire fraud prevention protocols.

n

nnReview files prior to funding to confirm all requirements and curative items are complete.

n

nnBalance files and review trial balances and outstanding check reports.

n

nnUpload and distribute final documents to appropriate parties.

n

nnCoordinate delivery, recording, and closing-related activities.

n

nnCommunicate with realtors, lenders, buyers, and sellers regarding funding status.

n

nnAssist with shipping, recording, and general file processing tasks.

n

nnProvide backup support for front desk and other operational roles as needed.

n

nnMaintain compliance with TitleOne policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

n

nnInteract and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of team members, leadership, customers, and external partners.

n

nnPerforms other functions as necessary or as assigned.

n

n nRequired Qualifications:

nnnMinimum one year of escrow or closing experience.

n

nnWorking knowledge of real estate contracts and closing processes.

n

nnStrong understanding of closing statements, lender requirements, and title commitments.

n

nnExcellent communication skills, including phone and email etiquette.

n

nnStrong customer service and interpersonal skills.

n

nnHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

n

nnAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

n

nnProficiency in Microsoft Office, escrow systems, and general office equipment.

n

n nPreferred Qualifications:

nnnExperience in a high-volume escrow or funding environment.

n

nnFamiliarity with TitleOne processes and systems.
