A law firm seeks a Funds Associate for their Madison, WI office. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate and securities law, with specific experience advising investment funds and investors. This role involves working with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team.
Duties
Advise investment funds throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit. Manage multiple projects and articulate legal strategies.
Requirements
Three to five years of relevant experience preferred. Active bar license in the state of application or commitment to obtain one. Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Active bar license.
Skills
Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds preferred. Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate exceptional judgment. Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
