Massage Therapist Job OpeningHand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is currently seeking part-time/full-time Licensed Massage Therapists. Your expertise in massage therapy and customer healing/relaxation will make you an essential part of our team. Our staff will book your appointments, and you will be provided with all the supplies you need to be highly successful! Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is a national franchise that specializes in massage, facial, and hair removal services. With over 500 locations, the Hand & Stone brand is a leader in the membership-based spa service industry.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign specific sessions based on the client's individual needsPromote the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy regularlyCreate an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitudeGenerate new clientele through promoting member referrals and membershipsHelp maintain the professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areasJob RequirementsMust adhere to state licensing laws and regulationsMust be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staffMust carry liability insuranceMust maintain an active Massage LicenseKnowledge of Swedish and deep tissue massage requiredKnowledge of other various modalities preferred but not required (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue).Perform consecutive 50 and 80-minute massages.Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodyworkCompany BenefitsFlexible schedulesOngoing training at no cost and reimbursementsProfessional and safe work environmentAll supplies providedWe offer a tiered commission with tipsFree employee services and discountsEmployee referral bonusCEU Credit OpportunitiesCompensation: $35.00 - $41.00 per hourAt Hand and Stone, Opportunity Knocks.We have opportunities for Massage Therapists, Estheticians, Spa Managers and Spa Associates at all stages of their careers.
