Medical Assistant (Full-Time) Memphis, TN | AFC Urgent Care Competitive Pay + Full Benefits | Fast-Paced, Team EnvironmentAFC Urgent Care is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join a high-volume, team-driven clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in efficiency, and wants to be fully involved in patient care from start to finish. This is not a slow-paced clinic. We're looking for someone who works with urgency, accuracy, and a strong team mindset.What You'll DoRoom patients, obtain vitals, medical history, and reason for visitAssist providers with exams, procedures, and treatmentsPerform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, COVID, UA, etc.)Draw blood and process labs (in-house and reference lab)Administer medications and injections per protocolPerform drug screens, physicals, and occupational medicine servicesPrepare and clean exam rooms; sterilize instruments and maintain suppliesDischarge patients with clear instructions and documentationRespond to patient calls, lab messages, and follow-upsSupport overall clinic flow and step in where neededWhat We're Looking ForMedical Assistant certification preferred (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent)1+ year experience in urgent care, ER, or busy outpatient setting preferredComfortable with phlebotomy and lab workAbility to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy or patient careStrong communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to take ownership and support the team across all areas of the clinicWhy AFC Urgent CareCompetitive hourly pay (based on experience)Full-time, consistent scheduleHealth, dental, PTO, and retirement benefitsSupportive, accountable team environmentOpportunity to grow your clinical skills in a high-volume settingWhat Success Looks LikeYou keep patient flow moving efficientlyProviders trust your support and preparationPatients feel cared for and well-informedYou show up ready to work and support your team every shiftCompensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hourPS: It's All About You!American Family Care has pioneered the concept of convenient, patient-centric healthcare.
