Join Team Georgia and impact lives everyday while receiving a robust benefits package designed for every stage of your career!Agency: South Georgia Technical CollegeShift: Not Applicable (United States of America)Compensation Details: $10.00 PER HOUR, UP TO 20 HOURS A WEEK.Job Description: Federal Work-Study Student – CIS Lab Assistant Campus: Americus Department: Computer Information Systems (CIS)Reports to: CIS Instructor Pay: $10.00 per hour Application deadline: Until filledJob ResponsibilitiesThe CIS Department is seeking a Federal Work-Study student to assist with lab support. Duties include cleaning and organizing the lab, arranging and labeling equipment and cables, setting up computers and peripherals, and preparing materials for upcoming lab activities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.RequirementsApplicants must:Be enrolled in the Fall 2026 semester for at least six (6) credit hours.Have approved Federal Student Aid for the 2026–2027 award year and be eligible for the Federal Work-Study program.Be making satisfactory academic progress.Pass a criminal background check and any other applicable screening.Complete all required State of Georgia employment paperwork through the Human Resources Office before beginning work.Work ScheduleThe student may work up to 20 hours per week, depending on Federal Work-Study eligibility.
