Game Day Brand Ambassador & Family Experience Representativei9 Sports is looking for a high-energy, outgoing, and kid-friendly Game Day Brand Ambassador & Family Experience Representative to help create an amazing experience for our players and families. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk customer service position. We are looking for someone who loves being around people, can bring energy to a sports venue, enjoys interacting with children and parents, and is comfortable being one of the faces of i9 Sports on game day. You may be welcoming families, helping answer questions, creating excitement at the fields or courts, assisting with special events, taking photos and videos, engaging with players, representing i9 Sports in the community, or even putting on our mascot costume and bringing the character to life! If you are energetic, positive, confident talking to people, and aren't afraid to be a little silly to make a child's day, we want to meet you.What You'll DoBe a positive, energetic spokesperson for i9 Sports during weekend programs and special eventsWelcome parents and players as they arrive and help create a fun, organized game-day atmosphereProvide friendly, professional customer service to familiesAnswer basic questions and help direct parents to the appropriate staff member when neededEngage with children and families throughout the dayHelp promote i9 Sports programs, upcoming seasons, camps, clinics, and special eventsAssist with community outreach and promotional eventsTake appropriate photos and short videos of game-day activities for marketing and social mediaHelp create memorable experiences for players, including celebrations, contests, giveaways, and special activitiesWear and perform in an i9 Sports mascot costume as neededHelp maintain a positive and professional i9 Sports presence at every assigned venueCommunicate parent feedback, concerns, and opportunities to managementAssist the operations team with light game-day support when neededWho We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are:HIGH ENERGY and naturally outgoingFriendly, approachable, and comfortable talking with new peopleExcellent with childrenConfident communicating with parents and familiesDependable and punctualProfessional while still knowing how to have funComfortable being photographed or appearing in social media contentComfortable speaking to individuals and groupsWilling to wear a mascot costume and interact with children while in characterAble to think quickly and handle basic customer concerns professionallyA team player who is willing to jump in wherever neededRequirementsSaturday and Sunday availability is requiredMust be able to work outdoors for extended periodsMust be comfortable working in Texas weather conditions, including heatMust be able to stand and walk for extended periodsMust be comfortable working around large groups of children and familiesMust have reliable transportation to assigned locationsMust have reliable communication and respond promptly to scheduling needsMust maintain a professional and family-friendly appearance and attitudeMust be willing to complete any required background screening before working around childrenPrior experience in customer service, hospitality, public relations, promotions, youth sports, childcare, entertainment, events, or marketing is preferredCompensation: $17–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.This is a 1099 independent contractor position with primarily weekend work. Additional opportunities may occasionally be available for community events, promotional appearances, tournaments, clinics, and other i9 Sports activities. This role is perfect for someone who has the personality to walk onto a field full of families and immediately bring the energy. We want someone who will high-five kids, talk with parents, jump into a photo, help solve a problem, promote an upcoming season, cheer on players, wear the mascot costume, and genuinely enjoy being part of the experience. At i9 Sports, our mission is to help kids succeed in life through sports, and this position plays an important part in making sure families feel that mission every time they arrive at one of our programs.
