The Garage Door Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors for both residential and commercial properties. Working primarily independently with remote oversight within a large team environment, this position requires technical skill, safety awareness, and excellent customer interaction. The technician is responsible for installation projects, comprehensive service tasks, and occasional emergency call-outs to address urgent issues and maintain client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Install garage doors and new builds at residential and commercial properties
* Perform maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal operation and safety
* Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with garage door systems
* Interact professionally with customers to understand and address their needs
* Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
* Replace parts and components as necessary to maintain and upgrade garage doors
* Respond to occasional emergency call-outs to resolve urgent issues promptly
Preferred Qualifications
