Job Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist (GI Physician) to join our growing medical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and prevention of digestive system diseases. This role involves both outpatient and inpatient care with opportunities for endoscopic procedures and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Clinical Care & Procedures

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.

Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, etc.).

Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and best practices.

Educate patients and families regarding GI conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.

Participate in call coverage as scheduled.

Operations & Compliance

Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, and other specialists for coordinated care.

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR.

Comply with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Support clinical growth initiatives and service line development.

Education & Licensing

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.

Valid medical license and DEA registration (or eligibility).

Experience & Skills

Extensive experience in hospital-based or group practice settings.

Interest in program development or quality improvement initiatives.

Subspecialty interest (IBD, hepatology, advanced endoscopy) is a plus.

Strong clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skills.
