Job DescriptionA hospital-employed practice in Central Jersey is actively seeking licensed Gastroenterologists to join their growing teams in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
\ NAbout the Opportunity:
\ N Schedule: Monday to Friday
\ N Hours: Standard business (40 hours/week)
\ N Call: Typically 6 days/month (any calls after that are compensated for)
\ N Setting: Hospital-employed outpatient practice
\ N Responsibilities:
\ N Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and conditions in the field of Gastroenterology
\ N Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
\ N Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
\ N Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
\ N Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
\ N Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
\ N Providing compassionateand empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
\ N Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
\ N Performing other related duties, as assigned
\ N Qualifications:
\ N Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
\ N Board Certified in Gastroenterology
