Job description
VA Northport Healthcare System is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join its staff. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and education for GI conditions, and perform procedures such as upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy.
The role includes managing inpatients and outpatients with GI, pancreatic, and liver diseases, participating in 24/7 on-call coverage, and mentoring medical students, residents, and GI fellows in the endoscopy suite.
