Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and respected private practice supporting Piedmont Medical Center, a growing and dynamic health system in the heart of the Charlotte Metro area . We welcome candidates that have experience and interest in ERCP and/or EUS capability, or a physician interested in developing and expanding advanced endoscopy services within the practice.
Position Highlights:
Established, busy gastroenterology practice
Immediate patient volume and referral base
Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
Dedicated endoscopy time
Supportive clinical and administrative team
Advanced endoscopy opportunities available
Hospital coverage rotates among GI partners and call would be 1:8
Collegial atmosphere with a team committed to clinical excellence
Group has ownership in an ambulatory surgery center, which is right next-door to their office
Preferred Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
Experience performing ERCP and/or EUS preferred
Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed but not required
Strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
