Gastroenterology Hospitalist Opportunity in Palm Beach Area, Florida
Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our dynamic inpatient care teams, part of a well-established GI service line, at Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital East and Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital West, both located in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Full-Time Opportunity (7 on/7 off shift model; 24-hour shifts)
Candidate will be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), with fellowship training in Gastroenterology
At least two years in an inpatient setting is required
Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
As a GI Hospitalist, you will oversee inpatient and/or ED consults, manage GI-related admissions, provide comprehensive evaluation and management of hospitalized adult/geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions, and coordinate care with the broader GI and hospital medicine teams
Procedures to be provided bedside and/or at endoscopy suite
