nA busy outpatient specialty practice in Brooklyn is looking for an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality gastrointestinal care in a collaborative clinical setting.

nWhat You'll Do
nnEvaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
nObtain comprehensive patient histories and perform focused physical examinations.
nDevelop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
nOrder and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
nPrescribe medications and provide treatment recommendations as appropriate.
nMonitor patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions and adjust treatment plans as needed.
nEducate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, nutrition, and preventive care.
nMaintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation using an electronic medical record system.
nCollaborate with gastroenterologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure efficient, patient-focused care.
n nWhat We're Looking For
nnActive New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
nGraduate of an accredited NP or PA program with current national certification.
nMinimum of 2 years of recent clinical gastroenterology experience.
nStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
nExcellent clinical judgment and ability to manage patients independently.
nStrong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
nComfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
nAbility to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
