What You ll DoEvaluate and manage medical issues for patients in the gastroenterology/internal medicine practice setting
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for complex case referrals
Provide patient education on preventive care and treatments
Document evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations per regulatory standards
Prescribe and monitor medications, including emergency interventions
Assist with diagnostics and therapeutic procedures within gastroenterology
Maintain compliance with documentation, coding, and billing standards
What You Need
Required:
NY State License and BLS certification
Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a provider
Strong communication skills, attention to detail
Preferred:
Board certification in relevant specialty
Experience with EPIC charting system and Pixys medication system
