nFull-time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Opening - Poughkeepsie, NY
nNuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Poughkeepsie, New York.
nCome join us on our exciting journey as we grow the Digestive Health Institute at Nuvance Health by joining our Nuvance Health Medical Practice Gastroenterology Department. The position includes seeing patients both in the outpatient office and hospital, with a Monday-Friday workday schedule with no call responsibility.
nThe ideal candidate will be a board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology. This is an employed position that includes a comprehensive benefits package, as well as allowances for CMEs and Dues. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout eastern New York and western Connecticut.
nJob Requirements:
nnnBachelor Degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) school.

nnCertification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
n
nnNew York State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
n
nnFederal DEA.
n
nnStrong Interpersonal and communication skills.
n
nnInternal Medicine or Gastroenterology experience preferred
