The Role:
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87102
Assignment duration: Ongoing
Shift Type: 12 hours. In-house rounding/procedures Mon-Sun 7a-7p.
In House Call: Call back between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. (24-hour call)
Cases: Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP required (diagnostic and therapeutic). Other GI procedures include upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery, variceal injection), colonoscopy (with biopsy and polypectomy), PEG placement, liver biopsy, small bowel biopsy, esophageal dilatation/manometry, and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.
Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
