Outpatient Gastroenterology Cayuga Health Ithaca, NY
Join Our Growing Gastroenterology Team
Cayuga Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Outpatient Gastroenterology practice in Ithaca, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced gastroenterologists in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Position Highlights
Full-time outpatient position
Monday through Friday schedule
Collaborative team-based care model
Established patient population
Opportunity to provide comprehensive GI care and continuity of treatment

Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders
Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and families regarding disease management and preventive care
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current Board Certification as an NP or PA
Eligible for New York State licensure
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Gastroenterology experience preferred; motivated new graduates encouraged to apply
