What You'll Do
Evaluate medical problems of adult patients in gastroenterology and internal medicine
Request consultations with other specialties when necessary
Provide patient education on preventive care, medical issues, and medication use
Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and treatments
Facilitate high-priority and complex case referrals to collaborating physicians
Prescribe and monitor relevant medications and emergency interventions
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
What You Need
Current NY State License and Board Certification in relevant specialty
AHA BLS certification
Minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and team collaboration
Ability to handle adult patients with diverse medical issues
