Locums - Potsdam, New York, NP/PA Gastroenterology Opening
Clinical Role
Start November 23, 2026Full-time Gastroenterology coverageGastroenterology/Internal Medicine practice settingEvaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and related medical conditionsRefer complex or high-priority cases to collaborating physicians as appropriateCoordinate specialty consultations when indicated Schedule & Coverage
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm Practice Model & Clinical Expectations
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered Gastroenterology careDevelop and manage treatment plansPrescribe and monitor medications as appropriateProvide patient and family education regarding conditions, preventive care, treatments, and medicationsProvide appropriate medical and emergency interventionsCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionalsMaintain accurate documentation for evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, procedures, referrals, and consultationsMaintain appropriate coding and documentation compliance Support & Systems
Epic experience required Requirements & Credentialing
Active New York license requiredAHA BLS requiredMinimum 3 years of experience requiredStrong Gastroenterology knowledge and experience required What's great about Potsdam, New York?
