Location: Augusta, ME 04330 \ N
Duration: Long term position \ N
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM \ N
Job Description: \ N
- Direct Patient Care: estimated 95% of the time involved in direct patient care. Contractor shall be responsible for:\ N
- Scope of Care: Contractor's physician (s) (as appropriate and within scope of practice/privileging) shall be responsible for providing Gastroenterology care, including, but not limited to:\ N
- Clinic and Surgical Care: Contractor's physician (s) shall provide clinical Gastroenterology services. Contractor's physician (s) shall be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries as documented by physical presence in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled start time.\ N
- Operative Services: Contractor's physician(s) shall provide comprehensive clinical gastroenterology services including the full range of colonoscopy and Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) procedures such as:\ N
- Colonoscopy
\ N - Colonoscopy via colostomy\ N
- Colonoscopy w/biopsy(ies)\ N
- Colonoscopy w/ablation of tumor/polyp/lesion\ N
- Colonoscopy w/removal of tumor/polyp/lesion by hot forceps\ N
- Colonoscopy w/removal of tumor/polyp/lesion by snare technique\ N
- Colonoscopy w/out biopsy\ N
- Colonoscopy w/ submucosal\ N
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)\ N
- EGD diagnostic
\ N - EGD w/biopsy(ies)
\ N - EGD w/removal of tumor/polyp/lesion by hot forceps\ N
- EGD w/removal oftumor/polyp/lesion by snare technique\ N
