A Corvallis based clinic with an e stablished referral network is seeking a motivated and compassionate, Gastroenterologist to join a team which includes a BC gastroenterologist, NP, RN and referral/scheduling specialist. Candidates with ERCP training preferred, Candidates should value practicing evidence-based medicine and should be comfortable treating all ages. Outpatient surgeries will be performed at the Clinic-owned Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Required Qualifications
OR medical license as an MD or DO
Completion of an approved residency program
Board certification in primary care
OR DEA certificate before start date
CPR certification
Responsibilities
Provide direct primary care and ambulatory outpatient care to clinic patients
Provide in-service training to clinic staff to increase staff awareness and to facilitate better patient care
Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care
Participate in utilization and peer review programs which evaluates the quality of the medical staff and medical services being performed at the clinics
Provide supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
Provide consultation services to practitioners by telephone accessibility as necessary
