Job description
GI Hospitalist opening in Ohio Located in Dayton, OHFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join practice. Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
Provide care to a diverse patient population across multiple settings
Collaborate with GI fellows and APPs in a high-volume program (5,000+ annual endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, EUS, ESD)

The GI Hospitalist role offers the stimulation of challenging acute-care cases, opportunities for advanced invasive procedures, and constant interaction with other physicians in a hospital setting.
7 on / 7 off, but open to discussing other options.
Skills: Have an interest in acute care
Have in-depth knowledge of the diagnosis/treatment of complex GI diseases
Be proficient in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures (e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations)
Possess excellent communication skills
Be adaptable and flexible for rapidly changing endoscopy needs
