Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This role is situated within a bustling inpatient setting, where you will serve as a vital consultant in gastroenterology. You will manage a range of procedures including scoping, ERCP, EUS, and endoscopy, alongside evaluations of complex GI problems. The patient demographic spans adult, geriatric, and adolescent populations, offering a diverse and enriching clinical experience. The facility provides 24/7 trauma services, hospitalists, and intensivist support, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The assignment features a 24-hour call schedule from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., allowing for a balance of professional engagement and personal downtime. While ongoing coverage is needed throughout the year, the facility welcomes physicians for 7-day stints, providing flexibility and variety in your work schedule. As this is a locum tenens position, you will have the opportunity to start as soon as credentialing is completed, with emergency privileges available for candidates with a clean file.

Qualifications
Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required.
Active DEA registration is mandatory.
An active Colorado medical license is highly preferred, although candidates with an IMLC are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must complete all required EMR training and credentialing processes promptly.
